Quality Score
Quality Score is Talroo's performance measurement that evaluates publisher traffic quality based on metrics we collect, such as conversion rates relative to a network baseline. It directly impacts your referral fee earned and impacts job eligibility for each of your feeds.
What is Quality Score?
Quality Score measures how well your traffic performs compared to the Talroo baseline for similar campaigns and contexts. It is expressed as a percentage:
| Score | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 0% | Average (baseline) |
| > 0% | Above baseline |
| < 0% | Below baseline |
You'll see it in TAP on the earnings report, the feeds list, and the details page for a single feed.

When the Score Is Low
You get fewer jobs, lower earnings on Dynamic feeds, and then fewer clicks because both inventory and prices drop. If it stays low, especially at low volume, we may suspend the account.
Usual causes: conversion in the dirt, bounce rates above 80%, jobs nowhere near the jobseeker, fake or misleading listings, a confusing apply flow, or the wrong traffic mix.
| Do | Don't |
|---|---|
| Send genuine, high-intent job seekers | Incentivized or misleading traffic |
| Target the right geographies and categories | International clicks to U.S.-only jobs |
| Filter bots | Automated or junk clicks |
| Match the landing page to the job | Misrepresent the job |
If Quality Score Drops Below -50%
Cut the worst sources and check for bots. Confirm geo and job fit. Then fix apply-flow friction and qualify people before you send them, if that makes sense for your site.
